Food tasted really good. They did over cook some of the crab but it still tasted really good and fresh

Neighborhood eatery offers a good variety of seafood and comfort dishes with friendly service and comfortable booths.

Under cooked food and sour chicken fingers. Waited 1 hour and a half for my food but my family waited 2 hours for their food.

Very friendly service at this clean and appealing local haunt but food disappointed. Overcooked crabcakes and underseasoned clam sauce, no one finished their meal. May have been an off night, will try one more time.

Excellent food! Large portions, fresh seafood, cooked right. Ambience is good. Large booths. Large tvs! Beautiful bar!

We really enjoy this restaurant, have gone on Lobster night and they alway run out, so we just go early. We went there for Valentines Day and of course they were covered up, but our server was absolutely Great!!, very attentive and food was terrific. it is close to us,our only draw back is the hostess could be a little more friendly, I know they were covered up, just saying that was the only thing missing.

Thursday night lobster was awesome...beers and appetizers were a bit costly...lobster and water and you have a great deal

Cool venue of you like sports bars. Three huge projector screen's on one wall. Chicken Parmesan was excellent. Cheese steak was good. Great service. Waitress was there, but not over bearing.

This place wasn't what I expected based on the pictures we saw on the internet. My wife and I were driving to Orlando from Jacksonville and decided we had a taste for some seafood. We looked up the nearest seafood place on Google and this place popped up, so we drove 30 minutes out of our way to go there. We were dissapointed with the place, the food and the service. Live and learn. I swear, some of these places that pass for sea food restaurants must get their food from the frozen food sections of their local discount grocery store.

I actually thought it was a Joe's crab shack until we arrived. We shared a crab pot and it wasn't bad. It's a decent little place to grab a bite.

So made appointment for Valentine's day for their special. When we arrived (early I might add) they let us know they completely sold out off the main entrees they promised to have. I've heard service was bad here but this blew me could away. They seated us at a dirty booth which was about the time we left.Absolute trash service.

Jake's Cake Shack was amazing! Had the Guinness Steam Pot ...omg awesome! Cool bar on the inside huge tvs, to watch games! Jennifer our waitress was amazing! Would recommend this place!

They have great food, great service and reasonably priced!!

They had surf & turf special but only has 5 total. We weren't able to order and we got there early. Had reservation with a special table and were told to go sit at any table. We sat in corner. They were out of clam chowder also. Service was mediocre at best. Terrible. Do not go.

Food was horrible and cold had no flavor at all it taste like some frozen food the employees did not wash hands very dirty..waitresses was very unpleasant not very professional DO NOT GO!!!!!!...HORRIBLE.....

We did some camping over here for the week and were on the way home. Pulled into Jake’s for lunch and were not disappointed. First we had the stuffed mushrooms and omg they were good! I had the fish and chips with coleslaw and my other half had the crab cake sandwich with fries. Every thing was cooked to perfection! I LOVED the fries! And the beer was ice cold. If we’re ever in the area again, we will stop in.👍 Our bartender/waitress was awesome, making sure we had anything we needed. Very friendly. Plus we loved the music playing in the background. Just a great atmosphere.

Four people in our party and everyone ordered a different menu item. Everyone enjoyed their selection. They offer a full bar also. The young Waiter was very friendly and attentive. Very large menu with a lot of variety from blt's to King crab.

My wife and I love Jake's and come here usually twice a week!

Not happy with that new manager.no concern for customer's and blames everything on great staff..changed menu and items we have groups that go there but we are changing where we meet if that women is still in charge...bad beer ignored when reserving large group booth.and she's always on the phone mostly outside not running the place..but it's more relaxing to customer's when other staff do what the do best..they ate great ..long time customer and friends .

Good atmosphere, and great fun with the kareoke. The food is good, but the portions, were small. Fish, (Fish & Chips) looked like a couple of "fish sticks". My lady had the seafood salad, said it was very good.

After many great experiences we had a disappointing dinner last night. Fish and chips, our favorite, no longer came as a lightly breaded big piece of fish, but rather as 3 small heavily breaded pieces. We had to look for the little bit of fish in the breading. The fries were curly and big, instead of regular French fries. Coleslaw portions were extremely small and they had run out of tartar sauce. Our waiter was apologetic and responded to our complaints with the statement that "Bob" the cook had left. We thanked him, paid for our drinks and declined the meal. Oh, nobody bothered to wear a mask because they were not required to, our waiter informed us. As we left, we noticed how dirty the place looked, food pieces and bits of napkins on the floor. Well, Jake's will no longer be a dining option for us.

Only 7 shrimp were included in the daily special. We asked for them to be tossed in Buffalo sauce, but they were just fried shrimp. Food was WAY overpriced for what we received.

When simply asking if margaritas were $4 instead of $6 (going off a sign right in front of us) I was told, “they’d have to do a price change and can’t ya see we’re busy here” (with multiple booths open). When I told them we were going off the sign the waitress/manager said it was obsolete and they just haven’t taken it down yet. Horrible and disrespectful customer service. Food was okay at best.

Jakes had excellent food and great service. Came from boston to visit family and wasn't disappointed

Service was mediocre at best. Bartender was in the weeds with only 6 tables. They don't have a shucker, so the bartender does it. Food was cold. Not one item was correct. Server was annoyed with everything. The lady he was training can walk circles around him. The food was cold....had to get my own napkins and condiments. My kids donner (a burger) took almost an hour.. HORRIBLE. NEVER AGAIN. GO TO SQUID LIPS....FAR BETTER

Nice place fast friendly service !

This was my first visit. What a pleasant surprise. Food was hot, fresh and very tasty. Staff was attentive and pleasant. Will definitely be back soon.

No Valentine's day value.They had a playful sign out on Valentine's day. When we walked in, the restaurant was less than half full. After we were seated and served drinks we were notified that the normal menu was not being served, and the available was the $50 Valentine's day special for two. Nothing on the special really appealed to me, but we were already seated so OK.It came with 2 salads, 1 appetizer, 2 main dishes, and 2 desserts.The salads were small, the calamari appetizer was OK, and the main dishes were also small, but very tasty!The sauce used for the chicken was great.When the desserts came out there was only 1 of the 3 that was still available.If we ordered the items a la carte, or as part of a normal dinner special I would put the value at ~$15+tip each; not $25+.

Nice place to go for dinner

This place was decent, the staff was friendly and helpful. At the time of visit they did not have many customers and a couple of their drinks they were missing ingredients. It didn't bother our party but Publix is around the corner and they could of restocked if they needed some more, but I doubt they got more then draft beer and soda + liquor so I can't really blame them as the drinks were good without an ingredient. Food was okay nobody had any complaints.

This was on of the worst dining experience I have ever had, I have a sever food allergy that I notified them of meany times yet I still got my meal with the item I can’t have. The staff is so undertrained and don’t know what there doing. The “manager” was so rude and kept rolling her eye during the entire ordeal. Then we go to pay for the part of the meal we did eat and they take our cards in the back for over 15 min then charge our cards for the full amount that we are having to dispute with our banks. I later became sick from the food allergy. I would never even look at this place. GO SOMEWHERE ELSO!!!!!

Awesome staff, food, and atmosphere!!

Hidden in the Driftwood Plaza of Melbourne Beach Jake's offers a comfortable venue and excellent service. Many menu choices. Worth a visit, Recommend you take the short drive and enjoy for yourself. If you have any questions about the menu ask JoJo

4 crab-stuffed mushrooms $10.Tasty, but $2.50 for a little mushroom?

At 5.30 they had totally sold out of the prime rib special. A vodka tonic order came as vodka ginger ale. The red wine was quite horrible. They got 2 stars only because the food was "edible', but certainly nothing special. I'm surprised they were quite busy. We won't be back

The staff was great. The seafood pot was SO over cooked, very disappointed. Even the stuffed mushrooms app came out seeming like thrice baked. The karaoke was a little too loud to hold a conversation. Not impressed, time your veggies and seafood to not overcook everything!

We always try to eat at Jake's when we are in Melbourne Beach because the food is always delicious. Tonight was no exception. As an added benefit, there was an Aretha Franklin tribute! I only wish I could stay in town longer to see some of the upcoming tributes!

Food not nice..orders we requested came late and not well done,,drinks full of ice and when you done with your drink as Soda you find that they gave you water without asking you even what was the drink!! Well done steak means Rare!!! I went home to eat again ..I just spent money to be hungry!! I will never go or invite anyone to that place!!
